Requests for Commission work
FOR CUSTOM WORK:
1. Contact me at karen@lunaazulstudio.com and let me know what kind of commissioned or custom order piece you are interested in. I will contact you as soon as possible so we can discuss the work. For Fiber art, I will need colors, I can use fabric swatches, paint color samples or if your pretty open, just the colors you like. This will help me to make a work that will match your own unique style. Because it is near impossible when working with different yarns and dyes to match colors exactly, please understand that there will always be slight variations in color, but the over all work will blend with the colors you chose. After talking with you, I will have an overview of what you are thinking about. Again if the colors are really important to you, samples of those colors in my hand, will be very important.
Color samples should be mailed to me at:
Karen Rester
156 Creekwood Dr.
Blum, Texas 76627-3003
2. A custom order piece requires more time and discussions between you, my customer and myself, to make sure we get it just right. The cost of a custom order piece maybe slightly higher than my other works but we will discuss the price as it relates to the art you want as we go.
3. I require a non refundable deposit equal to one-half (1/2) the purchase price of the custom order piece. When I have received the deposit, I will purchase the materials necessary to create the piece and begin the project. I will email photos as the work is in progress.
Once the order is complete, I will email a photo of the completed piece. The remainder of the purchase price is due at that time. Once I receive the final payment with shipping costs, I will have your order packaged and shipped to you!
Shipping
Shipping costs are paid for by the buyer, this price will be included in the final invoice. We will discuss your method of payment before your deposit is made. Payment may be through PayPal, credit card and I also except checks or money orders. I recommend purchasing insurance covering your order during shipping, this can also be added to the final invoice.
Because a custom order is created specifically for you, it is import that you understand that the piece is unique and can not be returned. Once you receive your order, if there are any problems, just let me know. I want you to be very happy with the art I have created for you.
